A luv note: May 1, 2012

Hi Ladies,

I apologize for the long hiatus from posting on the Luved blog but as you all know sometimes life just seems to run away from us. With work, family and home, I sometimes wonder how other women do it!!

With that said, I am very excited because our baby will be coming this week , I was due yesterday , and am hoping to take some time off work but I am not sure if that is going to happen.  Since Luved WILL NOT be closing during this time, all orders will be shipped and all emails will be answered but the response time may be just a little slower to than usual.

Hi Ladies,

This month we’re excited to announce that between March 28^th and April 1^st we’ll be back at the 2012 Spring One of a Kind Show.  We love this show!! For us shows are a chance to meet our customers face to face, but before the excitement of the show begins we need to get ready and make sure everything is prefect.  After 8 years and 15 shows it has become second nature, it is almost like going to the grocery store, it’s just something we do

We will be at booth #J-10.  For the first time we will be out of the clothing district and I am already missing our old show friends, so stop over and say hi.

Hi Ladies,

This month we’re having another free give away.  To win “the aubree” in heathered black, our most popular garment, we’re asking you signup and follow us at pintrest.com or follow us on our blog. Luved has entered the world of Pinterest and is LOVING it.  We have been having so much fun playing around and sharing our thoughts on design, fashion, and our second love, food .

A luv note: Feb 27, 2012

Hi Ladies,

Something we think about year round is what colours we’re going to use next for the upcoming season.  This past season, we rolled the dice and got rid of the same old solid colours and went with a heathered fabric which has specs of white worked into the fabric.  We received rave reviews about it and personally loved how it softened up the colour. So much so that we’re bringing it back for September 2012! For Fall 2012 we’re going with darker hues.

So we are taking a pole to see what colours you see yourself wearing the most?

Hi Ladies,

Organic or non-organic, that is the question? And that has been the ongoing debate amongst the Luved team. Will going organic take away from the quality of the fabric? Can we find anything as soft as what we’re currently using? Is going organic the right thing to do? Well after extensive research and have decided that we think it is the right thing to do, and we have found a simply incredibly soft bamboo rayon and sorona jersey that we think is amazing.  Every year we look for something that is not only so soft but can be thrown around, used and abused like a sweatshirt should be.  This fabric can really handle anything.  We are so excited to share it with you -next we have to pick our colours

A luv note: Feb 6, 2012

Hi Ladies,

So now that our Christmas backorders have all been shipped, and our shelves are stocked, we are turning our attention to production for fall 2012. For the past six months our design team has been working on new styles designs for the upcoming season and we we’re planning on debuting the new line in late Aug or early Sept.  We started early because the head designer is pregnant which makes it a little harder to design when your body doesn’t feel like your own.  Each season we create three, of what we as a team feel are amazing new designs, but to maintain quality and exclusivity only three will make the cut and move forward for production. Our next step….picking our top three!!

A Luv Note: Jan 23, 2012

Hi Ladies,

We have decided to start a blog to help keep everyone up to date with their favorite luved crush.  If it is Leo, Cole or Owen we are here to let you know what they are up to this month.

We have almost finished restocking of our inventory,  the fabric has been washing and treated and the production process is nearly complete.  The timeline is going as planned and hope it stays this way.   We are hoping to start our shipping the last week of January  so if you are planning on being away please contact us to either change the ship date or address were you want your garment to be delivered.
